Furlough fear – Adapt, survive and thrive

With our lives having changed drastically in the last few weeks, the Women in Data Podcast shifted from the original plan. In this first episode, Karen is joined by executive coach, published author and speaker Janine Woodcock. With UK businesses having furloughed a fifth of their workforce (on average), you will hear how companies view the furlough vs how it is lived by some of their employees and why it’s important to recognise these fears. You’ll learn how to shift your focus away from things you can’t control, as well as how to beat anxiety when you are feeling overwhelmed. So, even though the episode’s main focus is on the feelings brought on by being furloughed, in the times we are currently living, anyone can benefit from it.

To help the women in data community help each other at this time, don’t forget to fill in Janine’s short survey on the fear of furlough. She’ll be bringing more hints and tips to another podcast based on your responses.

Enjoy!
