Are you an exceptional Data Program and Governance Lead looking for a leadership opportunity? As a Vice President, Data Program & Governance Lead, you will have the unique opportunity to be a critical partner in our business-wide transformational efforts to shape up the future of the Global Investment and Corporate Bank (GICB). You will be a key leader with a high exposure to the senior leadership, working closely with the main stakeholders across the investment banking lines of business and corporate functions. An ideal candidate should be execution-oriented, have exceptional program management, communication, and data governance skills, be comfortable with ambiguity and have a can-do mindset. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Executing the data governance framework set by the GICB CDO (Chief Data Office)
  • Designing and enforcing the data governance policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, and programs
  • Executing the program management (tracking deliverables from identification to completion, preparing materials, coordinating with subject matter experts, and supporting stakeholder meetings)
  • Leading key monthly project governance and leadership forums by creating and coordinating inputs such as organizational priorities and accomplishments, business reviews, objectives and key results (OKR) reporting
  • Managing multiple monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc deliverables on status reporting from identification to completion by coordinating across the team
  • Partnering with key technology and banking stakeholders with a commercial mindset
  • Facilitating the resolution of key issues across stakeholders and producing the related reports
  • Driving results through leadership, partnership, and influence. Managing multiple work streams and priorities concurrently
  • Helping drive our strategic vision of enabling data use while protecting data as an asset to the firm and help promote this culture within the business
  • Identifying and acting upon opportunities for efficient use of materials and project tools to solve for multiple requests
  • Being a trusted partner (shaping the data management agenda, and working with all of the stakeholders in laying out their data management enhancement roadmaps)

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS  

  • 5-7 years of related experience including data governance and program management . Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with partners to extract information and accurately summarize for stakeholders to consume
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and organizational skills including program design, tracking and status reporting
  • Strong communication skills across platforms (emails, meeting facilitation, presentations, documentation)
  • Logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving, prioritizing and decision-making
  • Executing tasks under aggressive targets and maintaining a sense of urgency

 

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

  • Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience of leading governance teams in the financial markets
  • Exceptional knowledge of the management consulting skills and principles
