About the Team:

We count on our site reliability engineers to empower users with a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance levels to pursue their missions. As we expand customer deployments, we’re seeking an experienced SRE to deliver insights from massive-scale data in real time. Specifically, we’re searching for someone who has fresh ideas and a unique viewpoint, and who enjoys collaborating with our cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences for every interaction.

 

About the role:

As a Site Reliability Engineer you will oversee the production environment by ensuring system availability and maintaining a comprehensive view of overall system health. Develop and implement fully automated software and systems to efficiently manage platform infrastructure and applications. Enhance the reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our software solutions. Continuously measure and optimize system performance, anticipating customer needs and driving innovation for ongoing improvement. Provide primary operational support and engineering expertise for multiple large-scale distributed software applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and analysing metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
  • Partnering with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
  • Participating in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
  • Creating sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts
  • Balancing feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives

Requirements:

  • Experience working as part of a system engineering role
  • Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
  • Possess Strong Work Ethic, Self-direction, Collaboration, Inquisitiveness
  • Possess a strong desire to learn, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous success in technical engineering
  • Linux Administration experience (RHEL, Centos preferable)
  • Strong scripting skills; Bash, Python etc.
  • Strong Cloud Platform experience Azure or AWS (Administration and Configuration)
  • Experience in the use and management of containerisation and orchestration platforms
  • Experience in the automation of infrastructure using code-Terraform, Puppet, Ansible.
  • Experience in the development of CI/CD pipelines and workflows
