Customer Data Scientist - London Office / Hybrid working 2 days PW in office – 12 Month FTC - Salary negotiable dep on experience Up to £60,000 - J12775

To work in a team who manage all aspects of market research, customer segmentation, first part data build up and consumer activation along the customer journey for all brands across this companies’ group. Fuelling the ambition to put data at the heart of decision making and investing in our data platform to create a trusted single view of the customer and understand, analyse and leverage customer data to create a truly connected customer experience.

Seeking an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Data Scientist who will help discover the information hidden in vast amounts of customer data, and help make data driven decisions to deliver better products, services and relevance to consumers. Utilising advanced analytics tools like Dataiku, you will be responsible for extracting insights, building predictive models and generating actionable recommendations to optimise customer experiences and drive business growth.

Duties

Data Analysis and Exploration

  • Utilize Dataiku and other analytical tools to extract, clean, and explore customer data from various sources.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data to uncover actionable insights.

Model Development and Deployment

  • Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast customer behaviour, preferences, next best action.
  • Implement machine learning techniques to segment customers and personalize marketing strategies.
  • Deploy models into production systems to drive real-time decision-making processes.

CRM and customer intelligence

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CRM strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Generate comprehensive customer profiles and personas based on behavioural, transactional, and demographic data.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation.

Skills

  • Experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in using Dataiku or similar data science platforms for data manipulation and modelling.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
