Customer Data Platform (CDP) Product Manager - London Office / Hybrid working 2 days PW in office – 12 Month FTC - Salary negotiable dep on experience Up to £80,000 - J12776

To work in a team who manage all aspects of market research, customer segmentation, first part data build up and consumer activation along the customer journey for all brands across this companies’ group. Fuelling the ambition to put data at the heart of decision making and investing in our data platform to create a trusted single view of the customer and understand, analyse and leverage customer data to create a truly connected customer experience.

Seeking an experience Customer Data Platform Product Manager to join and lead the development of the customer data platform. The ideal candidate will understand customer facing businesses, have ROI driven digital marketing acumen, be data fluent and play a pivotal role to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.

Duties

  • Experience leading projects across large matrix organizations, ideally in the implementation of CDPs.
  • Data-fluent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in data-driven CRM teams, digital marketing, or CRM analytics.
  • A thought leader, passionate about technology who can dive into the details, creative in coming up with new solutions and able to execute on delivering uniquely challenging projects
  • Not afraid to take a deep dive into metrics and data whether it’s to diagnose a problem, evaluate a solution or propose a new KPI.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and querying data tables with basic SQL.
  • Familiarity with project management software like Jira or Confluence.
  • Good understanding of CDPs and related technologies such as data management platforms, data lakes, and marketing automation tools.
  • Cultivate a continuous learning environment within the team and analytics community through persistent development of new skills and sharing of knowledge through mentorships and contribution
  • Organized, collaborative, and structured approach to managing project ambiguity and complexity.
  • 'Can do' attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and convert data into business value.

Skills

  • Accountable for key linkages between the business and IT; ensuring all requirements for the CDP across the Martech stack are documented, understood, and delivered.
  • Partner and collaborate with regional CIX teams in US and EMEA, managing best practice communication and guidelines.
  • Build a relationship with CDP provider, ensuring constant learning and sharing of best practices for all end users.
  • Create and communicate platform implementation documentation and customer data best practice guides, partnering with regional CIX teams on overall best practices and customer journey strategy.
  • Bridge the gap between data governance ownership and the ensure a business view and a technical understanding of the data integrations
  • Work with IT and CDP provider to define data maps and schemas to support business use cases, focusing on enabling a customer-centric approach and multi-channel campaign orchestration.
  • Own customer data platform development and product roadmap, promoting its value proposition and communicating new features to internal stakeholders.
  • Understand consumer privacy regulations like GDPR and work with DPO, legal, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure compliance.
  • Define business match rules and consent management processing in the CDP
  • Ensure quality assurance for new data sets or use cases for marketing campaigns and define the KPIs and metrics required for data quality.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for platform-related questions and support resolution of data issues working with Global IT and Data teams, suppliers and business stakeholders
  • Ensure testing and optimization plans are in place to drive demonstrable impact on revenue performance goals.
  • Ensure business goals are met to reveal powerful usage insights and drive strategic decision-making for customers and the industry.
