Title: Leveraging a mentor

Overview:

Mentore has a proven track record in accelerating careers and developing leaders with premium mentoring at FTSE 100 and other global companies such as BT, BP, BAE Systems, Lloyds Banking Group, Santander UK and Tesco.  Mentoring is proven to develop leaders through advice and experience and guidance from those that have “been there and done it”. Whilst mentoring is theoretically available to all, it is typically accessible to only a few.

Data Executive roles are rarely held by women and Mentore aims to be the pioneers to change this. We are excited by the opportunity to partner with Women in Data and run this workshop, helping to equip women with the tools to leverage mentoring and create their own career transformation.

If you manage and lead others, or run a P&L and are thinking through how to get a mentor or how to get the best out of a mentor, this session is for you.

Our differentiated approach to mentoring programmes, has enabled us to build a deep understanding of the benefits of mentoring and the ways to get the most out of mentoring for yourself and for your organisation.

In an interactive environment, Emma Avignon, CEO Mentore will provide first-hand experience of the benefits of mentoring and provide practical ways to identify the right mentor for you.  She will share advice on how to build a strong mentoring relationship; how to get the most out of a mentor; and how to secure and maximise your mentoring experience.

As well as sharing advice and guidance from her experience, Emma will lead a discussion around the room – encouraging participants to ask questions, share ideas and their perspectives.

Our aim is that you leave with realistic and actionable takeaways gained from shared experiences.
