Join us for a powerful panel workshop to explore what it’s like to work in data in financial regulation & smash stereotypes.
Working in the constantly evolving data industry is both exciting & challenging. But research states that women are still underrepresented in data and technology professions, especially in senior positions.

Francesca Hopwood-Road – Head of Regulatory Technology & Advanced Analytics
Francesca leads a department of technologists, data scientists, developers, business change specialists and programme managers to support the delivery of the FCA’s ambitious and exciting agenda to use data and advanced analytics to catalyse change and innovation in our regulatory activity and the wider regulatory ecosystem.
Francesca is proud of breaking the mould of what it is to be a female leader and is on a mission to create leaders who have the belief, mindset, technical skills & vision to thrive in this digital age.
Nathalie Lowe – Portfolio & Project Manager
Nathalie presently project manages the FCA’s advanced analytics portfolio. With experience in both the private and public sector, Nathalie helps to bridge the gap between strategy and implementation to ensure the FCA implements the right analytics tools effectively, at the right time.
A role model for women in data and technology, Nathalie is extensively involved in developing the project management framework for Regulatory Technology & Advanced Analytics; including setting project management standards and ensuring best practice.
Nathalie hopes that by putting on events such as this one she can support other women at all stages of their careers.
Isobel Seabrook – Senior Data Scientist
Isobel is a leading Data Scientist in Advanced Analytics at the FCA. Passionate about all things data, Isobel’s main interests are network science and time series anomaly detection.
Isobel’s career has skyrocketed at the FCA. Having joined on the organisations internship scheme four years ago, Isobel has quickly progressed through the ranks to Senior Associate.
A lifelong learner, Isobel is now studying part time for a PhD in Network Analytics, and is just getting to grips with balancing academic pursuits with a rigorous work schedule.
Caroline Fletcher – Senior Manager, Data Analysis & Insight
Caroline leads a team of data analysts, researchers and visualisation experts to support the FCA to harness the power of data and insights in our regulatory work. Prior to the FCA, Caroline worked in data analytics and social research in policy making and for a campaigning organisation.
Caroline is passionate about encouraging curiosity and new ideas and believes a diverse team enables better innovation. She also enjoys being able to work part-time to invest in commitments outside of work.
