Location: Bradford, Chatham or Petersfield

We are happy for you to be based in Bradford, Chatham or Petersfield but please note that occasional travel will be required to our other offices

Working Pattern: Our working style is hybrid and you will be in the office 2 days per week in one of our offices.

You and Your Team:

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be reporting to the Service Delivery Lead. You’ll be Responsible for the management of excellent long-term client relationships, acting as the bridge between the customer, our suppliers and operational delivery teams.

In your day-to-day role, as a Service Delivery Manager you will:

  • Apply logical thinking, gathering and analysing information to formulate both short term day-to-day and longer term service delivery plans, to identify and analyse options and assess feasibility and operational impacts.
  • Build, develop and maintain successful, long term relationships with stakeholders.
  • Understand and identify business challenges and develop strategies and solutions to deliver added value to the business.
  • Act as an escalation point within the business for customers.
  • Own, chair and facilitate regular Service Reviews with the business and suppliers in accordance with relevant service level agreements and business priorities.
  • Ensure work is delivered in line with SLAs and agreed targets
  • Responsible for managing costs within budget parameters
  • Monitor supplier and IT service delivery performance and liaise with managers and customers to ensure service level agreements are not breached
  • Develop continuous service improvement plans to drive cost reduction activities and eliminate waste.
  • Identify problem areas, create and deliver solutions to enhance the quality of service and implement preventative measures for the future
  • Ensure business policy and processes reflect current practices and are adhered to
  • Provides operational and specialist insight to drive continuous improvement
  • Identify risks and provide proposals for potential solutions, balancing risk with business needs
  • Increase the number of suppliers, internal stakeholders and services that are covered by UC/SLA agreements

What will make you stand out?

  • Previous experience as a Service Delivery Manager who has worked within the a financial or large scale enterprise environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels in an organisation
  • Ability to influence and challenge constructively, particularly at Head of Function level
  • Ability to lead, coach and mentor a team
  • Able to delegate responsibility
  • Able to work under own initiative, with minimal supervision
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Strong ITIL knowledge or experience
  • Understanding of technical principals
  • Strong relationship management

The interview process:

  • Up to 30minute telephone call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
  • Up to 30 minute informal interview with the hiring team.
  • Up to 1 hour formal interview with hiring team.

Our average process takes up to 4 weeks but we will always work around your availability. You will have the chance to speak to our recruitment team throughout the process.

As this role involves working within a regulated environment any offer will be subject to satisfactory background checks including criminal record check, credit check, fraud check and employment references.

Your working life: The expectation for this role is that it is a full time, 5 day a week role however we will consider those who want to a condensed working role and will try accommodate this.
