Service Delivery Lead
This role is full-time permanent positions, based in London (Paddington) office, on a hybrid model – 3 days in office, 2 days work from home.

We are seeking a passionate Release, Environment & Service Fundamentals Manager to support the controlled and safe delivery of our data transformation programmes and ongoing BAU developments. Working within the Data Technology team, you will own all releases into our central cloud-based data platform, as well all related environments and their contents.
You will play a key role in driving our ambition to create a best-in-class data platform, environment, and culture. We are looking for people to join our data technology teams to drive this transformation, build a modern data platform using exciting technologies and do the best work of their careers.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you'll do
- Planning release windows and the owning overall release lifecycle and supporting processes.
- Managing risks that may affect release scope.
- Chairing change advisory boards (CAB), communicating release plans, commitments, and related dependencies.
- Measuring and monitoring progress, including quality metrics and MI that support implementation.
- Gatekeeping all production changes, supporting and building out fast track processes for low-risk change.
- Owning and evolving release management practise, process, supporting automation and related artefacts.
- Owning and managing all non-product and product environment, owning environment scheduling and supporting test data population processes.
- First point of contact for all organisational transitions and audits, both internal and external
Who you are
- Demonstrable understanding of version control systems, continuous integration, and deployment tools
- Good conceptual understanding of cloud-based data technologies and SDLC
- Solid attention to detail, ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
- Brilliant communicator (written and verbal), with strong influence skills
- Great facilitator and chair for key release meetings
- Great skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Demonstrable ability to break done complex matters and communicate them in a way that anyone in the organisation can understand
- Experience with working with internal and external auditors
