You and Your Team:
As a Senior Analyst in the Unsecured Lending team, you will report to the Manager – Customer Analytics. You will have the opportunity to promote engagement with Vanquis’s customers by developing strategies to provide offers and products which deliver value to our customers. Our focus is on delivering excellent customer experiences and outcomes that we are proud of through analytics and insights.
In your day-to-day role, as a Senior Analyst, Existing Customer Management you will:
- Responsible for the development and delivery of analytical work to support the ongoing management of Customer Engagement campaigns.
- Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems using independence of thought.
- Analyse and make recommendations that help inform the development of policy, campaigns and strategies.
- Investigate data, find trends, forecast performance and provide insightful recommendations.
- Provide insight/set expectations through targeted analysis, forecasting and development of regular MI.
- Accountable (solely or with others) for regular reporting or process administration as owner.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and contribute to work flow/process change redesign, forming a good understanding of the specific product or process.
- Support the development of analysts within the wider team.
- Peer-review analysis of other team members.
- Understand Customer impact of role
What will make you stand out?
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in analytical role.
- Clear, logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Attention to detail / accuracy focussed.
- Proficient in SAS/SQL with practical experience in a commercial environment.
- Database extraction and reporting experience.
- Experienced in all standard Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to generate innovative ideas for new and existing products, as well as gauge their viability and value.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of other relevant programming/analytical tools such as R, Python, Hadoop, Tableau.
- Experience in analytics related to customer value management, including marketing and/or credit risk
The interview process:
- Up to 30minute telephone call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
- Up to 1 hour virtual teams interview with the hiring manager
- Final interview with hiring team
