Core Responsibilities

Come be responsible for designing robust and scalable data infrastructure to support GenAI solutions, ensuring the seamless integration of data sources, pipelines, and storage solutions. Offer hands-on data engineering support to teams piloting GenAI solutions, solve data-related issues, optimizing data workflows, and refining data architectures based on real-time feedback.

  • Implement automation tools and frameworks to optimize the flow of data through the pipelines, ensuring timely availability and reliability for downstream applications.
  • Collaborate closely with the GenAI development team to integrate AI models and applications with the existing data infrastructure, emphasizing data availability, quality, and performance.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends in GenAI, evaluating and integrating best-in-class tools, frameworks, and practices to continually enhance our capabilities.
  • Act as an authority, guiding junior engineers and collaborating teams, fostering a culture of development excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Play an active role in sharing expertise in communication, event management, branding, and developer engagement to uplift the overall capabilities of the team.

Do you have what it takes?

The preferred candidate holds a good understanding of AI and GenAI. Demonstrable experience in designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale data infrastructures, as well as strong hands-on coding skills in Python and familiarity with data-focused libraries and frameworks.

Proficiency with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS and Azure), and experience in building and deploying data solutions in a cloud environment. Also, superb communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams and experience with Agile ways of working.

To succeed in this role, you preferably have competence within the following:

  • Education in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with vector databases.
  • Proficiency in working with embeddings.
  • Active participation in developer communities, open-source contributions, or personal GenAI projects.

Advanced English at a professional level both written and verbally are needed since we are an international gathered team.
