What you will be doing

As a Customer and Digital Data and Analytics Senior Director, you will be a key leader in our Analytics and AI consulting practice. You will lead a large team of consultants, embedded in our leading design consultancy frog, to drive customer experience transformation through data enabled innovation.

You will leverage your deep expertise as a data and AI leader in areas such as customer insight, digital customer journey optimisation, and marketing and campaign effectiveness to sell and deliver high-impact solutions for our clients across various industries.

You will also be responsible for leading and growing our high-performing Customer & Digital Analytics team as part of our Analytics and AI practice, nurturing top talent, and developing strong client relationships.

An overview of the role

We’re looking for a Senior Data and AI leader to join our Analytics and AI practice and lead the development of our Customer & Digital Analytics team. This is an established team of 50+ Consultants. Your role will be to lead, inspire, grow, and manage this high performing team including the following responsibilities:

  • You will sell and deliver complex and innovative Analytics and AI projects for our clients, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
  • You will be accountable for the scope, budget, and resources of the projects, as well as the expectations and satisfaction of the clients.
  • You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing proposals and leading pitches for Analytics and AI solutions.
  • You will collaborate with other senior leaders and experts across Capgemini Invent, as well as with external partners and vendors, to create and implement cutting-edge Analytics and AI solutions.
  • You will contribute to the thought leadership and innovation agenda of the Analytics and AI practice, sharing your insights and best practices with internal and external audiences.

You’ll be working in a range of sectors, including among others retail, consumer goods, public sector, utilities, telco, financial services, and life sciences.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

What we look for

  • You are a data professional who is leading the industry revolution through AI and innovation, with a passion for solving complex business problems with data and AI.
  • You significant experience in Analytics and AI management consulting, with a proven track record of delivering successful customer experience transformation projects.
  • You have specific experience and expertise in Product Enablement and Innovation, using data and AI to drive customer value and business outcomes.
  • You have specific experience and expertise in Customer Insight, Digital Customer Journey Optimization, and Marketing and Campaign Effectiveness, using data and AI to enhance brand and marketing performance.
  • You have experience in leading and building high-performing Analytics & AI teams and nurturing top talent in a complex Consulting or Agency based industry.
  • You have cross-sector Data and AI experience, with exposure to multiple industries such as Energy Transition and Utilities, Life Sciences, Financial Services, or Consumer Products and Retail.
  • A master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business.
  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions
  • Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating £3m of consulting revenues.

  • Experience that spans across consulting, agency, and client-side roles
  • A professional certification or accreditations in Analytics, AI, or related fields, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, SAS, or Tableau.
