Salary: Negotiable to £67,000 plus profit share and good retirement plan

This is an exciting client facing role to lead and deliver data science projects in a wide range of sectors within the built environment including buildings, transport, energy and water related industries where they seek to exploit opportunities to deploy industry leading data science to these and other areas. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to unfamiliar business settings is essential.
Role and Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the leadership of, and help build, an existing team of data scientists.
- Coordinate with centrally developed data platform architectures for the delivery of data analytics and insight to clients.
- Preparation of bids and contributing to business development, creating and evolving relationships with internal and external clients.
- Support and guide more junior team members in developing their careers in data science.
- Build collaborative and functional relationships with peers in technical, business leadership and business development roles, evangelising the impacts and values of data science solutions.
Is This Role Right for You?
If so, you likely have:
- Experience in data analytics and data science, including machine learning and cloud-based large scale data analysis.
- The ability to identify, translate, and deploy data science solutions that are useful and successful for clients, end users, and other stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of programming languages, including Python. Good to have Programming skills in “close to the metal” languages such Java, C or other (Julia, Scala, Haskell etc).
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or MXNet.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and deploying reusable analytical products and services.
- Experience delivering project using agile working practices.
