We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to join our Marketing & Customer Analytics team here at Domestic & General. Reporting into the Analytics Manager you will provide actionable insights to ensure data is at the heart of business.

Through your own analytical work, you will develop and deliver regular insightful analytics to key business stakeholders focusing on campaigns to drive business growth.

It will also involve working in a fast paced, agile team environment that can deliver against tight and changing deadlines and priorities. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, curious, and analytically minded person who enjoys driving positive change using data.

Key role responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business problems
  • Manage projects from start to finish to achieve the business’ objectives within Marketing
  • Use the analysis to develop recommendations and communicate these to key stakeholders to support in decision making from across the business.
  • Support set up of campaign tests across direct marketing and email and measure results to continuously improve campaign performance
  • Work closely with key stakeholders in the data team to understand, identify and execute opportunities for value creation.
  • Utilising existing data sources from across the business and new data sources to improve campaigns and identify new marketing touchpoints
  • Report key campaigning metrics and provide performance updates to stakeholders

 

Skills and experience required:

 

  • Proven track record of producing actionable analysis
  • Experience of utilising statistical techniques to drive recommendations
  • High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Capable of utilising statistical techniques to drive recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Innovative and pragmatic problem solver.
  • Able to explain complex analysis to non-technical colleagues clearly and with authority.
  • Understanding of statistical techniques
  • Self-motivated and confident
  • Strong delivery, results orientated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Desirable:

 

  • Background experience in an analyst role for a Warranty or Insurance Company
  • Working in fast paced, agile teams
  • Previous experience in a marketing analyst role
