Senior CRM Capabilities Manager

Expedia Group is looking for a senior level individual contributor who consistently applies and regularly enhances the online merchandising capabilities, principles, and playbooks to tackle the most complex business challenges and opportunities. This person also provides support and expertise to many areas and mentor colleagues. Interfaces regularly with executive (VP+) leadership.
What you'll do:
- Develops and reviews corporate information, ensuring messages are consistent and providing areas for improvement.
- Uses expertise in marketing or creative strategy to advise on strategic approach to campaign or content strategy and recommend innovative approaches.
- Identifies needs and structures deliverables according to plans, audiences, and strategies; ensures "usability" of tools and materials.
- Prepares and delivers communications via differing communication channels
- Prioritizes multiple marketing initiatives, communicates priorities among stakeholders.
- Demonstrates understanding of channel strategy, and how key target segments use/respond to various channels and tactics.
- Offers stakeholders/customers a variety of products/offerings, explaining the costs and benefits of each while also explaining which may be the best fit for the customer’s organization.
- Devises new methods and procedures for collecting data; performs complex data analyses and presents findings on the underlying principles, reasons, or facts to drive subsequent actions.
- Develops and implements e-commerce marketing strategies, utilizing the internet as a promotion selling vehicle.
- Identifies ways to maximize competitive differentiation, obtaining commitment/support of internal resources.
- Formulates own research questions, and/or may utilize research tools and vendors. Assesses the pertinence of data sources and conducts research to test hypotheses before establishing new facts and reaching new conclusions.
- Integrates timelines and milestones across projects, identifying areas of constructive collaboration or dependency.
- Determines actual or potential gaps in resourcing for projects and recommends strategies to mitigate.
- Evaluates the progress of projects and adjusts to keep the project on track.
- Coordinates project plan across functions and competing timelines from other projects; leads development of strategies to get assigned project done amidst opposing needs for resources and development external to the project being delivered.
Who You are:
- 4 - 8 years' experience managing and leading large scale, global customer engagement marketing projects.
- Contributed to customer engagement marketing community through blog posts, open source
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of customer and partner audience to validate communication plans and strategies
- Defines how to leverage past communications data and KPIs to inform strategy.
- Defines partner and customer communication strategy to meet goals of growing loyalty and Statements of Work
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant complex software program(s) such as Salesforce Data Cloud
- Demonstrates advanced technical skills to create campaigns, communications, manage communication flow and reporting using relevant platform(s).
- Expert in budget management and ROI assessment.
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
