Working Pattern: Our working style is hybrid, but we recognise the importance of collaborative working with our colleagues often 1 to 2 days per week in one of our offices

You and Your Team:
As a Senior Credit Risk Data and Systems Analyst, you will be reporting to the Senior Credit Systems Manager. Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the business’s credit systems data and strategy. Whilst focusing on the implementation and testing of the credit risk strategy within the credit systems and having the opportunity to work on exciting business transformation projects.
In your day-to-day role, as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst you will:
- Translate strategic and system requirements into individual deliverable items using a DevOps framework, including sizing to guide development activities aligned with business priorities and expected benefits.
- Delivering regular management information on credit systems and support investigation of unexpected trends, system bugs & errors to identify root causes.
- Build reporting to continually analyse multiple sources of information including working closely with the strategy & decision science teams to ensure that the credit system and strategy within is fit for purpose and optimised for current and future use case.
- Gathering and defining the requirements for creating insights and deliver it as a coherent story to the senior management.
- Understanding business need and utilise knowledge and commercial awareness to provide direction and oversight on credit reporting including fully documenting the processes.
- Adhere to governance framework and DevOps culture to ensure that development conforms to accepted guidelines and to ensure consistency and focus on highest business priority
- Develop visual reports, KPI’s and dashboards using platforms available (Power BI/Excel)
- Be part of a significant transformation project focused on upgrading business systems, transitioning from SAS to new platforms.
- Self-motivated and independent thinker who can understand the business requirements and improve upon them with their ideas.
What will make you stand out?
- 3+ years credit systems experience covering originations or other customer lifecycle strategy
- 3+ years coding & reporting systems experience, preferably Power BI, SAS, SQL or Python
- Able to delegate responsibility & mentor junior team members.
- Ability to present complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge at all levels.
- Ability to operate independently and objectively.
The interview process:
- Up to 30-minute telephone call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
- Up to 1-hour virtual interview with the hiring manager
- Final interview with the hiring team
