The centralised Group function’s Change and Delivery team area looking to add a Senior Business Analyst to support in the new HR transformation program which sees the upgrade and additional of HR platforms, tools and systems. This position would see you work as part of a wider change and delivery team which are responsible for change projects across the group, with your initial focus being the HR project.

 

As the Senior BA you will be responsible for gathering requirements and working closely with stakeholders to further define them, conducting analysis, and delivering insight and planning recommendations back to the business to ensure smooth delivery of the change initiatives.

 

What you'll be doing
  • Managing, motivating, and developing employees at all levels, in a manner that is consistent with the Company’s policies and procedures the including Partnership Agreement, to maximise the performance of the area
  • Line managing a team of  Analysts
  • Performing a Lead BA role on the HR Transformation programme to oversee the analysis governance, quality assurance, activity prioritisation and resourcing and demand and leading the team of analysts on this programme
  • Leading requirements elicitation processes on projects, including activities and deliverables for defining the business opportunity and problem. Then in turn, planning, and executing business analysis, eliciting requirements from stakeholders and requirements documentation
  • Critically reviewing and evaluating proposals to initiate change activity, identifying fit with the agreed divisional roadmap, and challenging with sponsors where conflicts and contention exist so that the integrity of the divisional roadmap is maintained
  • Continually evaluating the quality of all deliverables, including those of 3rd parties, to ensure the product is fit for purpose and are acceptable to all stakeholders
  • Delivering effective communication to all interested parties, including stakeholders and Divisional Directors, to support effective decision-making and managing the smooth and integral delivery of programmes
  • Critically reviewing and evaluating any proposed solutions identifying alignment with business requirements, making recommendations to senior managers ensuring they are fully aware of key risks and assumptions, and marrying up technical limitations with operational realities
What we're looking for
  • IIBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) or Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®)
  • BCS Business Analysis certifications, including the BCS International Business Analysis Diploma are essential
  • Green Belt Six Sigma
  • Extensive understanding of Business Analysis techniques such as; Enterprise Analysis, Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring, Requirements Analysis, Elicitation, Requirements Management & Communication, Solution Assessment & Validation
  • Extensive understanding of Business Analysis techniques
  • Extensive understanding of Business Process Modelling
  • Extensive experience working in a continuous improvement environment
  • Able to confidently lead and set activities/workload for other Business Analysts within a project
