Core Responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will improve our ability to capture, integrate, analyze, segment, and target user data from various sources. Collaborating with multi-functional teams, you will build comprehensive user profiles to gain valuable insights and improve audience understanding. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing scalable solutions to process and unify user data.
  • Crafting data export and integration mechanisms for personalized marketing.
  • Contributing to the strategic approach of Audience Relationship Management.
  • Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry standard processes, proposing innovative enhancements.

As a member of our team, you will redefine how we use data to make impactful changes. Your expertise in data-driven practices will be essential in transforming how our retail organization uses information, leading to significant improvements and innovations in our approach.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Expertise in programming with TypeScript and Python, with advanced skills in data engineering, Databricks, and managing data pipelines.
  • Proficient in monitoring and observability of APIs and data pipelines using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats, and Logstash).
  • Experienced with Terraform for CI/CD and DevOps processes.
  • Committed to testing to ensure high-quality work.
  • Skilled in building ETL pipelines using serverless technologies and implementing infrastructure as code, preferably with AWS services.
  • Knowledgeable in event-driven architecture and messaging technologies like Apache Pulsar or Kafka.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
