The DCE Data, Analytics & Enabling team is a newly created Data & Analytics practice within the LEGO Group’s Digital Consumer Engagement (DCE) function. Our focus is on establishing two-way, long lasting and meaningful relationships with our consumers and shoppers, and we believe that the ethical, transparent, and effective use of consumer data is key to this ambition.

You will be working at the core of our digital product teams, building our data analytics infrastructure and providing analysis & recommendations to continually improve our consumers’ experience within our digital ecosystem. Some of the products in our digital ecosystem include LEGO.com For Families & For Adults, LEGO Account, and the LEGO Building Instructions app.

For this role we are seeking a highly entrepreneurial senior analytics specialist who is comfortable working in a matrixed and cross-functional organisation. Being able to influence multiple product teams and stakeholders will be key, as will the ability to balance detailed hands-on analysis with generating unexpected insights and creating compelling narratives designed to inspire action in the business.

  • Hands-on experience turning raw, unstructured data into meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Experience creating meaningful data visualisation and communicating this with senior business partners
  • Proficiency with Adobe Analytics and/or Snowplow, and the implementation of tracking variables across both known and unknown / anonymous device IDs
  • Experience performing analysis on large data sets in a Big Data platform (i.e. Databricks or a similar platform)
  • Comfort with SQL and PowerBI and ideally one of Python or R
  • Proven project management skills with experience delivering difficult and complex projects involving multiple teams
  • We’re looking for a lynchpin who isn’t afraid to get things done even when they don’t have formal authority over everyone who needs to be involved to make it work, and is able to build collaborative working relationships across organisational boundaries
  • Experience in management consulting or marketing / analytics agencies is an asset
  • Working knowledge and understanding of digital marketing channels across CRM, web, paid media, programmatic, etc. – Passion for developing a deep understanding of user needs throughout the shopping journey
