PLS Revenue Optimization Operations Analyst

Introduction to team

Private Label Solutions leverages the best of Expedia Group’s partner-facing APIs and template products with a laser focus on B2B, powering hundreds of businesses around the world and tapping into a diverse range of travel market segments. As Expedia Group’s partner-focused arm, PLS’ mission is to provide its partners with solutions to fuel their growth.

Revenue Optimization is a key drive of value for PLS and our partners. This role will be responsible for managing the deployment of innovative pricing strategies to enhance revenue, improve market responsiveness, ensure compliance and meet partner needs. This role offers an opportunity to drive strategic pricing initiatives, enhance our competitive edge, and support the expansion of our B2B operations.

In this role, you will: 

  • Manage and execute configuration changes on different internal engines to optimize for PLS-specific needs across multiple product lines.
  • Partner closely with Machine Learning Science and Analytics to deploy and test new algorithms and pricing strategies in production.
  • Partner with Machine Learning Engineering teams to identify inefficiencies in the deployment process and build new tools to scale our operation.
  • Develop a strong understanding of company data logging and data architecture to effectively investigate incoming requests & assess the impact of potential changes involving EG Pricing Programs.
  • Maintain existing documentation on an ongoing basis as well as perform a comprehensive review of workstreams to publish step-by-step guidelines on processes without documentation.
  • Assist in both team & companywide projects and initiatives including defining requirements, developing test plans, and conducting UAT.
  • Collaborate with multiple orgs, including Product, Technology, Analytics, Machine Learning Science/Engineering and Partner Integration Specialists in addition to the core team to develop project goals and to launch project and program initiatives.
  • Develop the reporting and monitoring of pricing updates through dashboards like Tableau
  • Complete ad hoc analysis tasks to help stakeholders monitor pricing changes
  • Collaborating with teams in your location and across the globe

Experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a related field
  • Experience with SQL query language
  • Previous experience with Python or another object-oriented language
  • Demonstration of solving complex business issues using data at scale
  • You have experience managing priorities and stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Experience with GitHub version control and CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins)
  • Experience with terminal and a coding IDE of choice.
