Core Responsibilities
- Develop & maintain a suite of data intelligence products (dashboards & potentially data science products) allowing stakeholders to easily consume data & insights.
- Curate & maintain gold data products within our LEGO Data Platform; integrating these into daily business processes & decision making through analytical teams, supporting key initiatives for growth & optimisation.
- Partner with the Data Office to ensure platforms, tools & processes meet business needs; acting as collaborators, testers & ambassadors.
- Assist Digital Product Teams to onboard their data to LEGO Nexus to bronze & silver data products and act as data stewards to ensure high data quality & integrity, supporting on data validation where needed.
- Enable LEGO® Retail specific data understanding and champion data literacy via guidelines, training, drop-in sessions, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Assist global projects & initiatives such as ML models through deep retail data understanding.

The department’s key focus is to deliver timely insights through data from across the LEGO® Retail business, helping shape decision-making both for operational optimisation purposes and tactical and strategical decision recommendations. The key partners of this role will be multifunctional in areas such as Marketing, Finance, Operations, Stores and e-Commerce.
This role is essential as we further enhance our focus in the LEGO® Group around first party retail and direct to consumer activity. In order to be successful on this journey, data is a cornerstone in everything we do. This role will help both enrich our current data landscape and bring new data variables to life, but also enable important data development projects around the business to use LEGO® retail data that will both increase accuracy in the models and speed up insights to action.
Do you have what it takes?
- An educational background in data analytics/statistical/business engineering or related field or equivalent.
- Experienced in Tableau or similar data visualisation software.
- Experienced in SQL or similar experience in analysing large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Positive can-do attitude and always chasing solutions that benefit the team, willingness to learn independently and adapt roles.
- A high level of learning agility- you can pick things up and learn quickly on your own and be collaborative with colleagues, with a determination to deliver results.
- Natural curiosity- always looking to understand why something looks the way it does and you are not satisfied if you don´t understand the broader context.
- Able to build fantastic working relationships with colleagues and partners.
- Thorough and detail oriented, yet you should be able to work in new uncharted territories with many unknown variables.
- Willing to travel 10 days a year.
- Fluent English skills both verbal and written.
