Join our dynamic, growing team in the fast-paced Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Chief Data Office (CDO) for an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, compliant data that unlocks value for our stakeholders. As part of the Reference Data Product (RDP) organization, you'll contribute to data products that meet our business consumers' needs and play a crucial role in implementing the Legal Entity Master Data Management (MDM) system within the Legal Entity Management - Product Team.
As a Reference Data Product Owner - Associate in the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Chief Data Office (CDO), you will be responsible for the delivery of product features for various projects including product enhancements, regulatory changes, production fixes, and product adoptions. You will engage with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, partner with product delivery leads and technology to identify and design solutions that satisfy requirements, and conduct data analysis to support product solution recommendations. This role provides an exciting opportunity to grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who can provide clear direction and vision to the technology partners, testing teams, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand & document business requirements
- Partner with product delivery leads and technology to identify and design solutions that satisfy requirements
- Conduct data analysis to support product solution recommendations
- Manage Jira backlog, including creating Jira stories, backlog prioritization, product testing, defect tracking and release management activities
- Grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who can provide clear direction and vision to the technology partners, testing teams and stakeholders
- Independently lead and direct initiatives to completion and manage risks/issues
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Minimum 5 years product owner experience along with working in an Agile environment
- Experience in a regulatory/compliance environment is beneficial
- Strong communication, presentation skills, relationship building and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, changing, environment with tight deadlines
