The Chief Data & Analytics Office in J.P. Morgan’s Corporate Investment Bank is a multi-disciplinary team on the journey of data-driven business transformation.

We employ state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) techniques, coupled with the latest data science infrastructure and delivery of high-quality and compliant data, to harness the power of data and solve our most challenging business problems.

About your team

Reference Data Product (RDP) was created with the mission to help improve the quality, integrity and reliability of the firm’s critical reference data. Reference Data Product actively contribute to the firm’s efforts in growing the business, reducing costs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The organization’s objectives are to explain the path that critical reference data follows, improve data quality, reduce ambiguity and inconsistent terminology, enhance transparency, rationalize the number of replicated data assets, and improve firmwide-sharing of information and best practices.

What you will do

You will join the Reference Data Product team focused on supporting business priorities and strategy. Strong partnerships with other global functional support areas are essential; these include technology, business support management, product business managers, legal, credit and various operational support teams

  • You will support the adoption of the strategic party and account reference data model from onboarding to downstream processing
  • You will lead analysis/working group meetings with stakeholders
  • You will diagnose and facilitate resolution of key issues and help shape tactical and strategic solutions
  • You will have the ability to develop effective working relationships across all stakeholders and partners.

Who you are

  • You will have knowledge of party reference data and client onboarding processes
  • You have the ability to understand logical data models and work with data architects to define extensions to the strategic party and account data model
  • You will have experience of working on agile delivery projects with the ability to write user stories
  • You have strong presentation skills and the ability to facilitate and run meetings involving multiple stakeholders
  • You will be passionate about supporting the CDAO in driving inclusivity in the workplace

Minimum qualifications

  • Excellent Excel, Visio and Powerpoint skills
  • Effective change and time management skills

 

Nice to have’s

  • Knowledge of financial services and Markets/Securities Services business
