The Position
As AIA Project Lead you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of cross-functional projects that leverage data science capabilities to address complex clinical and operation needs.
Your duties will include to:
- Own the project delivery end-to-end, from initiation to close-out
- Lead the project team fostering close collaboration across the functions involved (data science, IT, clinical development, etc.)
- Manage project resources and budget to support a timely and exceptional delivery
- Guide project scoping initiatives and drive stakeholder update
- Drive project-related communication and change management activities
The AIA Project Lead report to the Director of AI Delivery and Strategy. Internal partners include data scientists, biostatisticians, engineers, Global Program Team, senior stakeholders outside AIA, and others across US and Denmark
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Ph.D. with 4+ years of experience. Degree within biology, mathematics, engineering, physics, or a related quantitative discipline preferred.
- PhD/MBA preferred
- Experience in project management within the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare industry, regulated medical device development, or in another regulated field
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder landscape
- Ability to connect clinical requirements to technical solutions
- Experience with change management activities in a large organization
As a person, you are able to drive diverse and cross-functional teams, with excellent written and oral communication skills
About the Department
The Project Lead is part of the AI Delivery and Strategy team within the AI & Analytics department. AIA applies sophisticated algorithms and machine learning techniques to some of the hardest problems in the discovery and development of new healthcare solutions. By leveraging a blend of scientific, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, we provide superior data insights that empower Novo Nordisk to further develop and deliver life-changing treatments. We work in multidisciplinary teams with strong collaboration across all areas of the organization and engage in external collaborations to ensure access to cutting-edge research and technology.
