About the role
Reporting to the International Development Lead, the Program Director will be responsible for the ownership and delivery of a number of key programmes that will modernize our Local Markets. D&B International has investment and local systems within 16 countries. We are embarking on a programme to transform these platforms, through the adoption of modern technologies. The target for this will be to accelerate the programme of work to transition these platforms to utilizing Cloud based infrastructure (GCP). This role will be running the International programme to define the capabilities needed from our Cloud provider, establishing the European/International instances, aligning on the approach for migrations and delivering the migration itself.
Owning the strategy, approach and outcomes for these migrations will be challenging as each local market will have its own challenges and platforms to migrate. This will require a good knowledge of the varied approaches for migrations (native/GCVE) along with a strong management view on the programme and its risks. This will encompass all aspects of Cloud from migration through to establishment of control functions/fiscal monitoring & controls. This is a critical, post-acquisition project for Dun & Bradstreet’s recently expanded European business and will be integral to our growth strategy. The post holder will be expected to provide strategic project management and domain management at a senior level.
This role is fundamental as it will be responsible for the safe transition into our Cloud provider of the future. Ensuring this will be successful whilst managing all of our dependent clients/systems/access so that there is zero impact to them will be challenging. This programme will ensure that D&B platforms can meet the needs of our ever growing set of clients, products and data needs though so is a vital portion of our Technology transformation.
The Program Director will ultimately be accountable for all aspects of defining and transitioning to the future state for D&B International. Delivering on those technical commitments to meet our commercial objectives and responsible for keeping the European Leadership Team and other stakeholders updated on progress.
