Salary & Benefits: £57-80K base salary, depending on experience.
Where does the role sit?
The Chief Data and Analytics Office brings together Engineering, Data Science, Business Intelligence (BI) and Agile Delivery; building data solutions in areas such as customer segmentation, pricing, customer experience, credit decisioning, commercial performance and fraud detection.
We’re also driving a more sophisticated approach, including leveraging Cloud, to enable more data-led decisions, to help LBG achieve its ambition to be a truly data driven bank.What is the focus of the role?
As a Product Owner in the Chief Data and Analytics Office, you'll be working across all areas of the bank, various data platforms, including the cloud platform, using state of the art toolsets, as well as evaluating exciting new technologies to expand our capabilities and deliver industry leading data products.
You’ll be expected to understand, and quickly absorb complex technical & analytical concepts and be able to translate these to a wider business audience. Ultimately you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of initiatives and maximising the value delivered by the team.
What we are looking for:
• Product Owner experience within a Data, Software or IT environment.
• The ability to influence with authority, empowering teams with responsibility and comfortable challenging stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and drive teams across data platforms (within a cloud environment would be a plus!)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver change, working with engineers, designers, and analysts.
• A data driven and evidence-based approach to decision-making to explain 'why'.
• Intellectually curious, loves learning new skills & capabilities and role models the learning culture.
