What will I be responsible for?
As a non-functional test engineer for Working Capital you'll collaborate with Engineering and Product colleagues to ensure non-functional requirements are considered early and are part of the acceptance criteria. You will be responsible for testing features in production-like environments to stress the systems with real-life data loads and synthetic scenarios of peak projections. Testing real case scenarios at the component and E2E levels to prevent issues, including, but not limited to Performance testing, Scalability Testing, and Recovery testing. You will be responsible for coaching junior non-functional testers in the team. You should seek ways to improve/automate and stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Edinburgh based (2 days in the office)

What will I be responsible for?

Essential skills & experience:
- Strong experience as a Non-functional tester or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of non-functional testing including accessibility, compatibility, performance, security and back-out testing.
- Extensive experience of using testing tools including Performance Center/ Loadrunner.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive non-functional test approach/plans and cases.
- Experience with black box testing and integrations.
Desirable skills & experience
- Collaborating with third-party vendors on non-functional testing.
- Experience of agile Development practices, DevOps pipelines, continuous integration / deployment and test automation.
- Experience of Azure, Google or AWS Cloud platforms.
