This is a rare and exciting role which involves being part of Admiral’s Travel Insurance team to support the implementation of a new product. Working primarily across the Operations, Product, and Underwriting areas you will ensure accurate and timely availability of data and reporting for all of Travel Insurance. You will have the opportunity to work closely and have an impact on all areas of the travel insurance including pricing, claims, operations, marketing and underwriting and assist them with ensuring availability of data and performance reporting on key metrics. You will also liaison with MIS and Data Warehouse teams and our external IT provider Socrates in order to help setup the best data and reporting environment for Travel Insurance.

Main duties

This is a broad role in which we expect you to be data and report expert and you will:

  • Ensure accuracy and quality of data used across all areas of Travel Insurance
  • Maintain the data tables currently used by travel pricing team and ensure they are updated regularly
  • Help setup and be responsible for maintaining KPI reports for all areas of Travel Insurance
  • Create, run and automate regular reports including the marketing campaign, daily claims reports
  • Support the department in creating the monthly Claims and CRMI packs
  • Create and run ad hoc reports dependent on needs of different departments
  • Work with external IT provider Socrates to ensure that aggregator related functions are working correctly
  • Liaison with Data Warehouse and MIS on behalf of travel insurance to prioritise Travel’s requirements

Key skills and experience

  • Good SAS, SQL and Excel skills
  • Presentation skills using PowerPoint would be beneficial
  • VB knowledge would be beneficial but not required
  • Passion for data-driven projects
  • Dependable and focused on execution
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities as Travel Insurance grows
  • Highly numerate with good analysis skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and priorities
  • Highly motivated and self-driven individual

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
