Marketing Effectiveness Client Services Director
Hybrid working/Full Time – 2 days in Central London office & flex on remaining 3 days
£Competitive Salary plus bonus
Job Reference J12901
We are working exclusively with an established and fast-growing marketing effectiveness agency dedicated to providing best-in-class marketing mix modelling (MMM) services to a range of high-profile brands.
Unlike many agencies in their sector, they work with our clients in a variety of different ways, ranging from the more traditional “outsource” based engagement to semi-in-house and indeed fully in-house solutions dependent on need. These arrangements give them a unique insight into how their clients operate and enable them to remain close to clients' needs and maintain relationships for long periods of time.
They are a completely independent and owner-managed agency, who place strong emphasis on openness and transparency when it comes to their services and work closely with clients to both verify and embed the results of work. They learn, develop and succeed together, fostering an ego-free and positive company culture, to ensure they can achieve business goals and personal dreams at the same time.
They also place a strong emphasis on technical development, with around a quarter of their business dedicated to technical development and process improvement. We are constantly striving to improve the efficiency and technical capability of our modelling processes, enabling us to deliver best-in-class analytics to clients.
Job description
Rapid and large-scale growth in the demand for our services with one of their main FMCG clients has meant that they are actively looking to expand their team.
They are seeking a dynamic and passionate Client Service Director, ready to blend strategic planning with hands-on team management, ensuring that the data programme and team provide high-quality, efficient, and effective data analytic services to our client.
As such, the Client Services Director will manage the overall relationship with the client, covering areas as diverse as:
- Ensuring client projects are delivered on time and meet their expectations
- Scoping New Business opportunities and actively seeking areas to expand our service provision within the client
- Resource planning to ensure that we have the right people, skills and processes in place to deliver
- Ensuring that the highest levels of technical and quality assurance are met
- Financial management for the team
Although the role is based in the UK, the client is international and as such the service delivery covers a range of markets across the globe. Whilst most of the service delivery will be virtual, there may, on the odd occasion be a requirement to travel internationally but this would very much be the exception and not the norm.
Through many years of working with the client, they have successfully aligned their analysis to their own internal technical modelling standards, creating solid foundations for comfortable future work. As such, the role places a heavy emphasis on technical delivery as well as the normal “insights” based delivery common to MMM Projects.
Candidate Profile
Given the large scale of the project, the right individual must be comfortable dealing with large-scale, high-profile client engagements. As such, will need proven experience in a Senior Account Director or similar role within a Media Agency/Consultancy environment and be used to dealing with a large number of stakeholders that often have competing agendas.
A confident communicator, the right individual will actively lead and mentor the team, managing client expectations to ensure they deliver to brief. The senior leadership team and operations department will be actively supporting throughout.
