What you'll be doing:
As the Sub-Sector Head for Maunfacturing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the growth strategy for NTT DATA’s Manufacturing sub-sector. Reporting to the Sector Head, you will:
Strategy Development:
- Define and implement the Manufacturing sub-sector strategy in collaboration with the Sector Head, ensuring alignment with overall sector goals and objectives.
- Identify and develop growth opportunities, focusing on strategic accounts and partnerships within the Manufacturing industry.
P&L and Pipeline Management:
- Own the P&L for the Manufacturing sub-sector, setting and achieving financial targets through strategic planning and proactive measures.
- Oversee pipeline qualification and prioritization, ensuring resources and pre-sales efforts focus on high-value opportunities.
Business Development:
- Cultivate and strengthen peer-to-peer relationships with senior and C-level executives in new and existing Manufacturing clients.
- Provide hands-on leadership in pre-sales activities, including proposal development, bid reviews, and client presentations.
- Represent NTT DATA at industry events, conferences, and forums, positioning the company as a leader in Manufacturing IT services.
- Negotiate terms and close contracts with clients, achieving sales targets while adhering to governance requirements.
Delivery Oversight:
- Collaborate closely with the Delivery Director to ensure the successful execution of Manufacturing projects.
- Act as the first point of escalation for delivery issues and engage with clients at an executive level during monthly governance boards.
What experience you'll bring:
- Industry Expertise: A deep understanding of the Manufacturing industry, including market trends, challenges, and opportunities, with a proven ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strategic Leadership: Experience defining and executing sub-sector strategies, managing P&L, and driving growth through account development and business innovation.
- Client Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with senior and C-level stakeholders, with a focus on value-driven partnerships.
- Sales Acumen: Track record of leading successful pre-sales efforts, delivering compelling proposals, and closing high-value deals in complex, competitive environments.
- Delivery Focus: Strong collaboration skills to work with Delivery Directors and ensure client satisfaction and delivery excellence, with the ability to manage escalations effectively.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with experience representing organizations at industry events and forums.
- Team Leadership: Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment across the organization.
