Job Description
Join our dynamic Group HR Governance team as a Junior Data Protection Analyst. This role is pivotal in ensuring our data protection compliance, focusing on responding to individual rights requests and supporting the data protection team with various administrative tasks. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for data protection, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responding to individual rights requests, such as Subject Access Requests, within statutory timeframes
- Liaising with requestors and working with internal and external stakeholders to identify relevant data
- Making necessary redactions and preparing formal responses to requests
- Supporting the data protection team in investigating, managing, and reporting on breaches and information requests
- Providing management information and analysing data for key trends on data protection
- Maintaining internal hub pages and updating guidance
- Assisting in the delivery of the Data Champions training plan and other communications
- Providing general administration services for the data protection team, including mailbox management and management support
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Competency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Power BI (helpful but not essential)
- Experience in administrative support roles or data/risk analyst roles
- Experience in responding to data subject access requests is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to manage your own time and produce high-quality work
