In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering strategic data solutions and advanced analytics to key stakeholders, including senior management, HR, and divisional leaders.

Working closely with the People Data Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in significant projects focused on data strategy and governance. You’ll oversee data management processes and automation, providing expert advice and implementing data solutions to enhance our tech stack. Engaging in data discussions with internal stakeholders will also be a key part of your responsibilities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building data solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data models for advanced analytics, to provide accurate and relevant data to HR and the business

  • Providing accurate, reliable, and relevant data from multiple sources to support people analytics
  • Helping to develop and maintain data quality and integrity measures and controls.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of the people data strategy, models, and applications to establish a robust data foundation for data-driven insights
  • Supporting the development and implementation of the people data architecture and integrations, ensuring seamless connection across HR and business applications
  • Analysing and presenting data and reports to the appropriate areas of expertise, identifying errors, and advising on solutions
  • Working with HR Systems and Operations, Finance, IT, and Business teams to continuously review, simplify, and improve people data-related processes

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Good understanding of HR policies and practices
  • Knowledge of data protection, information governance, and associated requirements
  • Understanding of IT architecture and HR processes and how they interact with other services (e.g., finance/procurement)
  • Experience and knowledge of data architecture and integration processes
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex data structures
  • Knowledge and practical application of data tools and analysis, with experience in Alteryx, PowerBI, R, and Python being desirable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Agile and flexible, capable of dealing with ambiguity and confronting challenges and opportunities with speed, endurance, and decisiveness

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
  • Generous pension contribution
  • Life assurance
  • Private medical insurance (permanent employees only)
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Competitive family leave
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
  • There are the many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
  • In 2023, some of our workspaces were redesigned. Our offices are great spaces to connect and collaborate and have your wellbeing at the heart
