Your role at a glance

In this role you will support the development of the HR data suite of dashboards, insights and reports. You'll take responsibility for data management processes and automation, development of key business reports, visualisations, dashboards and data models. You will provide technical support, champion process improvement and automation, and work with HR and the business to translate high level requirements into meaningful data solutions.

What you'll be doing
  • Building data solutions, including reports, dashboards and data models for advanced analytics, to provide accurate and relevant data to HR
  • Collecting and clean raw data, often from multiple sources; maintaining architectures such as databases; and developing data mining, modelling, and analytical processes
  • Providing accurate, reliable and relevant data from multiple sources, touch points and channels, to support people analytics
  • Helping to develop and maintain data quality and integrity measures and controls
  • Supporting the development and implementation of the people data strategy, models and applications, to establish a robust data foundation to enable data driven insights
  • Analysing and present data and reports to the appropriate area of expertise, identifying errors and advising on solutions. Identify and work with the HR team to resolve data related issues.
  • Working with HR Systems and Operations, Finance, IT and Business teams to improve data quality
  • Making sure compliance and security of the data by taking responsibility for protecting the data —while providing information on potential risks and offering regulatory guidance
  • Applying deep understanding of data security to end-user data access
What we're looking for
  • In order to exceed in this role you'll need to have knowledge and practical application of data tools and analysis including Excel & Power BI. Experience in Alteryx, R, and Python is desirable
  • Knowledge of data protection, GDPR, data confidentiality, information governance and associated requirements
  • A good understanding of IT architecture as well as HR processes and how they interact with other services (e.g. finance / procurement)
  • Experience and knowledge of data architecture and integration processes and experience and knowledge in designing and implementing complex data structures
  • Agile and flexible, capable of dealing with ambiguity, and confront challenges and opportunities with speed, endurance and decisiveness
  • Ability to independently research, assess, interpret and validate data
  • Effective communicator at various levels and including to non-HR community
  • An understanding of HR policies and practices would be useful
