Household Data Provisioning Analyst

Working with all levels of management from around the Claims/Core department you will be expected to provide regular and ad hoc reporting along with insights and analysis to help improve department processes.
You will be responsible for one or several areas within Household Claims/Core reporting and be expected to maintain the present reporting infrastructure whilst providing new reporting tools when appropriate and producing insightful and comprehensive ad hoc analysis.
Main Duties:
- Using Google Cloud Platform and Looker to: Ensure timely delivery of regular and ad hoc reports which are accurate and fit for purpose.
- Analyse and interpret data including creating new dashboards and reports
- Liaising with all levels of management and project managers.
- Managing and prioritising outstanding requests utilising the team’s Kanban board, communicating backlogs when necessary.
- Having a passion for optimising existing processes. Thinking creatively and identifying ways to proactively improve reporting, including data visualisation.
- Supporting high level analysis with requisite specialisation (E.g. Reinsurance, Benchmarking, Inflation, Surge forecasting, Claims Acceptance, and Product Improvements).
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in your area.
- Provide technical support within team; supporting team with Looker/LookML requirements.
- Maintains close relationships with Data Engineers and Developers in Claims Solutions, DLH and Data Tribe.
- Responsible for bug notification and data landing requests along with the assistance/delegation of functional sign off.
- Champions best practice for Looker/LookML/BigQuery .
- Reviews dashboards and SQL for inefficiencies.
- Stays up to date with new releases.
- Ensures we align with the wider business data strategy.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Experience with data analysis.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Looker.
- Experience with SQL or BigQuery and a keen interest in programming in general.
- Good knowledge of the data held within GCP, specifically for Household is desirable.

- Ability to work in an Agile environment handling multiple tasks and creatively approach situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Flexible approach, highly motivated and willing to contribute to areas outside direct responsibilities.
- Willingness to challenge and question processes to understand business needs.

There will be a Pricing test as well as an interview via Teams.
