Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of the above office sites

About This Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a Head of IT to lead Change Events, Data Strategy and Automation across IT Service and Operations.

The Head of IT CEDA at Lloyds Banking Group will be a visionary leader tasked with driving continuous improvement, innovation, and automation across IT Operations. This role is pivotal in enhancing service delivery through Change Events, Data Strategy, and Automation, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and positive outcomes for colleagues and customers.

Duties and responsibilities

Working across the organisation you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Leading the strategic direction for IT service delivery, focusing on Change Events, Data Strategy, and Automation.
  • Overseeing the management of Change Events to minimize impact on services and operations.
  • Driving the implementation of automation initiatives to streamline operations and improve service quality.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, challenging the status quo and encouraging innovation within the team.
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive Data Strategy to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring robust service management practices are in place, including risk management and compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Establishing and championing a collaborative culture built on trusting relationships to develop services in line with objectives that deliver great customer and colleague experiences.
  • Working in close partnership with the Engineering community, operating proactively and influencing the continual improvement of the service offerings provided to the aligned business units.

What You’ll Need

Technical

  • Experience as a head of IT:Track record as a Head of IT leading Change Events, Data Strategy and Automation across IT Service and in a similarly sized organisation.
  • Service Management Industry Standards, Regulations and Practices: An extensive, solid understanding of industry standards and practices.
  • Risk Management: Experience in Technology Operational risk management.

Behavioural

  • Exceptional Communication Skills:Strong stakeholder management, and inter-personal skills with the ability to tailor your approach.
  • Influence and Gravitas:Influential personality with the ability to empower and encourage and to articulate ideas and information with gravitas, securing executive level assurance and advocacy.
