Are you passionate about creating unforgettable events and bringing people together? We're looking for a passionate Events Coordinator to join our team. This is a brand-new position within the team.

You’ll collaborate directly with our Events Director to curate memorable experiences that blend innovation, creativity, and inclusivity—leaving a lasting impression. As part of Women in Data®, you’ll contribute to events that elevate women in tech and data, fostering networking, learning, and empowerment within a rapidly growing community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Events Director to plan, coordinate, and deliver a wide range of events, from intimate networking sessions for women in data to large-scale conferences with 3,500+ attendees.
  • Design event schedules and timelines, ensuring smooth execution and impactful experiences.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors, managing logistics and ensuring timely delivery of services.
  • Be agile and solution-oriented, able to troubleshoot challenges with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Leverage Excel to track budgets, manage guest lists, and analyse post-event data, ensuring decisions are informed by data.
  • Cultivate an inclusive and collaborative environment, keeping a calm demeanour and sense of humour, even in high-pressure situations.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Excel
  • A passion for creating impactful, memorable events that champion inclusivity and diversity.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • A good sense of humour and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience using Canva or other design tools to create visually engaging materials.
  • Close proximity to the Basingstoke office would be ideal
