We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative and solutions orientated Director, Program Manager to lead the Program management team within EG Media at Expedia Group (EG). Leading delivery of high impact x-functional marketing programs that maximize EG marketing / media effectiveness.

We are looking for an experienced Program Management leader to join our team, to work on planning, optimizing and managing Program & Process Management, and learning agenda delivery to ensure our media investments are as effective as possible. You will be responsible for leading the team that delivers finance, creative optimization and delivery, marketing test and learn and business enablement capabilities. Along the way, you will work closely with teams supporting a diverse portfolio of media investments for Expedia Groups global brands and the Program management CoE.

What you’ll do:

  • Orchestrate the delivery and ongoing governance / optimization of programs and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Maintains a close overview of emergent program support needs within EG Media (and wider Global Marketing).
  • Provide support, directly and through their team, to critical cross-functional workstreams, leveraging proximity to channel activation for effective co-ordination and on time delivery.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on process improvement and working practice
  • Oversee integration of Program Management frameworks, as an enabler of efficient scaled process
  • Maintain broad market knowledge of the global marketing supply base, current supplier engagements, contract values, and renewal dates for efficient roster management.
  • Oversees the creative program to enable scalable and systematic planning, prioritization, optimisation and development of high quality digital assets
  • Maintain media finance ecosystem for transparent investment planning, tracking, optimisation & reconciliation that enables teams to run the most effective marketing activities​​
  • Manage Marketing Experimentation program to enables effective planning, prioritization and management of optimization and decision making
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Channels and Analytics to optimize testing strategies for maximum impact on business objectives are prioritized and delivered.
  • Senior contributor to the Marketing Program Management ‘Centre of Excellence’, developing and sharing best practice x-org.
  • This role coaches, leads and develops the careers of a high performing team of Program managers

  • Strong business insight, analytical and organizational skills with exceptional level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a critical understanding of business processes and challenges to recommend and develop solutions to meet unique business needs and achieve objectives
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to understand and communicate complex challenges, succinctly translating them into workable options and solutions
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to influence key decision makers and build strong long-term relationships
  • Ability to navigate a complex matrix environment, working across multiple business units and global teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics or quantitatively related field or equivalent related professional experience
