Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our office in Leeds.

About This Opportunity
As a DevOps Engineer working within the General Insurance Platform, you'll be part of a team delivering industry leading digital experiences to help customers with their insurance needs.
Your role will focus on a range of DevOps Tooling, providing both technical support and demonstrating hands-on technical expertise whilst supporting the design, build and implementation of solutions which are based on business requirement. You'll build a great internal network, developing an understanding of this exciting team and the activities they perform.

To be considered and thrive in this role however, you will need to demonstrate examples of the below in your application as a minimum:
DevOps experience
- We'd love you to understand DevOps concepts and methodologies and experience of working with DevOps pipelines
Programming experience & tools
- We'd need you to have demonstrable experience of both programming and scripting experience; and working experience in at least some of the below:
(ITIL or Service management, UrbanCode Deploy, Nexus, Groovy scripting, Cloud Platform knowledge, Linux or Windows admin).
Being a quick learner & innovative
- You are a quick learner, and you can grasp concepts quickly and apply new skills, gaining an in-depth knowledge of DevOps Tooling.
- You'll feel energised by learning new technologies and staying in-step with industry changes.
Being Inquisitive
- You're inquisitive and enthusiastic, able to find answers to questions and resolve problems whilst focusing on routine tasks. As an analytical thinker, you can work methodically with a high level of attention to detail.
Being collaborative & having a customer-centric mindset
- Your passion for delivering high quality products and services shines through, with your focus on customers' needs always at the forefront of the way you make decisions.
- With a positive, happy-to-help demeanour, you enjoy collaborating with others, building strong business relationships and communicating in a clear, concise manner.
