About the role

We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join Business Services and No7 Beauty Company IT platform. You will oversee the delivery of projects for the platform, partner with business technology managers and product managers / owners, governing delivery plans and release management of all production deployments of the portfolio. You will help deliver a portfolio of projects from our platform technology roadmap, ensuring internal and external delivery teams complete and transition to BAU on time and in full. You will ensure this is achieved to agreed contracted milestones and deliverables and in full compliance with Boots IT Delivery Framework and all applicable governance.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to the Boots IT Delivery Framework for all projects to maintain consistency, full compliance to governance, and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Drive financial governance by maintaining control of all project costs and ensure platform teams comply with all approval processes and policies.
  • Conduct regular quality checks against each project within your delivery responsibility.
  • Ensure efficient and effective resource planning to support delivery of the pipeline, engagement and allocation requests.
  • Provide support and coaching to project managers and facilitate escalations if necessary to ensure successful delivery of projects on portfolio.
  • Direct project management of several projects.

What you’ll need to have

These are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role.

  • Previous experience delivering and leading technology and business change programmes and projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience of managing cross-functional and partner teams in multiple locations within matrix organisation.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent attention to details.
