Job description
Are you ready to step into a Project Manager role that will make a tangible difference to Defence? Defence Digital is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to driving and overseeing project outputs. As a Project Manager, you will lead projects that support the UK's Defence and make a meaningful impact on our customers.
You will manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that each project aligns with Defence Digital's strategic objectives. Your key responsibilities will include creating and leading projects to deliver agreed outcomes within time, cost, and quality constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, manage resources, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet objectives and deadlines.
- Ensure an appropriate benefits realisation strategy is in place and monitor the long-term delivery of benefits against the business case.
- Provide day-to-day management and leadership of the project and the project team, setting and maintaining project controls.
- Ensure effective change management processes are in place to agree on and document changes to deliverables.
- Identify and establish appropriate Project Controls.

Person specification
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and organised individual with strong communication skills. You should be able to work well under pressure and confidently navigate complex challenges to drive projects to successful completion.

Hybrid Working
Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity. Requirements to attend other locations for official business or work in another MOD office will also count towards this level of attendance. Applicants can request further information regarding how this may work in their team from the Vacancy Holder (see advert for contact details). The successful candidate is required to carry out all their duties from a UK location and cannot do so from an overseas location at any time. This post is working 37 hours per week. Please note that you will be required to attend site at least 4 days per week.
