Job Description

As part of the Consumer Investment Banking CDO Data Solutions team, you will partner closely with the Data Risk Pillar Leads to help deliver tooling & automation solutions that support our line-of-business data management requirements and assist with compliance to policy, applicable laws, rules and regulations. You will work on complex implementations, cutting edge technology in analytics dealing with firm wide high profile topics, new regulations and requirements. You will build your professional skills in a variety of product and project experiences by understanding the issues we face and implementing solutions to help remediate them.

In this diverse role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with others within our team, across CIB and Corporate Functions including Technology, AI/ML, Controls, Risk, Legal and Compliance.  Engagements you will be involved in may include:

  • Managing day to day governance of data risk management tooling requests, requirements and status
  • Supporting Data Risk Leads in end-to-end implementation delivery which includes defining requirements, performing UAT and implementing product control solutions
  • Managing key projects with the goal of delivering products on time, within scope and with appropriate risk mitigates and controls

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Data Risk Leads in end-to-end tooling solution delivery which includes defining requirements, performing UAT and implementing product control solutions
  • Develop tooling & automation requirements, scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
  • Analyze existing data risk processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas suitable for automation
  • Develop a detailed implementation plan to monitor and track progress. Partner with Analytics, Machine Learning and Technology teams to support the development of end to end automation solutions for Data Risk Pillars
  • Measure project performance and draft program status updates
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure execution of deliverables is successful
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks . Create and maintain comprehensive project and governance documentation

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • 5+ years of related experience in financial services, product management, project management and/or strategy  OR Several years of related experience in financial services, product management, project management and/or strategy
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Experience in one or more project delivery methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and ability to flex methods to meet the needs of the project
  • Excellent prioritization, time-management and organizational skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written and technical (e.g., PowerPoint). Ability to present concise, direct and timely communications to management and key partners
  • Ownership mindset: Take ownership and accountability for area of responsibility. Proactive problem solving, owning the issues and having the determination to follow tasks/issues through
  • Work independently as well as part of a team and ability to shift perspective from high level 'big picture' to low-level detail
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with numerous teams and key stakeholders. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

Prior experience in automation & Business intelligence tools like UiPath, Alteryx, Tableau a plus
