We are looking for a passionate Data Scientist to join our multinational team. Core Responsibilities:
- Design, build and/or configure end-to-end applications through close collaboration with other product team members
- Engineer products to the highest standards of security and data privacy by implementing and following LEGO Group security and data privacy principles from ideation to production release and beyond.
- Engineer products that implement business logic, modern design patterns and architectural principles
- Engineer products that follow highest coding standards e.g., documentation and efficiency
- Ensure product robustness and reliability by writing and executing unit and integration tests
- Improve operational efficiency by developing automation tools for daily tasks
- Build efficient and optimal solutions by challenging ideas/opinions
- Suggest and define future stories to support the Product Owner.
Do you have what it takes?
- A proactive learner with a practitioner's approach to data science techniques and technology.
- Strong communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders and build trust. Working knowledge of core Data Science skills, including data wrangling, visualization, modelling, and programming.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, with Python being a priority. Familiarity with data science tools and technologies, including experience with version control systems like git.
- A commitment to teamwork and a positive, influential presence within a collaborative environment.
- Experience in an agile development setting is preferred.
- Industry experience in retail or FMCG would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, and relevant Chinese regulations is a plus.
- Overseas study or work experience, or experience working in a multinational company is a plus.
