Kickstart your career as a Data Scientist with Admiral! – September 2025 

Location: Hybrid (1-2 days a week in our Cardiff office, with remote working options)

The Programme

Are you a STEM grad with a passion for data? Join our Data Science Graduate Programme and use your statistical and problems solving skills to create impactful solutions to real-world business challenges.

In this two-year programme, you’ll spend year one building a strong foundation in data analytics, becoming knowledgeable in the breadth and intricacies of our data. Year two will see you gain expertise as a data scientist, applying statistical models and machine learning algorithms to make smart predictions and actionable insights.

What you’ll learn:

  • Expertise in the field of data science – including how to develop, evaluate and interpret machine learning models with real-world applications that make a difference.
  • Proficiency in the use of industry-leading tools, such as Python, R, Google Cloud Platform, SQL and data visualisation tools such as Looker & MicroStrategy.
  • To lead data science and analytics projects, using great data storytelling to guide stakeholders through complex data insights and solutions.
  • Valuable insights from our Data Community – a diverse network that includes industry experts and peers who were in your shoes not so long ago.
  • The variety of data we work with and how we use it to solve real-world business challenges.

The programme is designed to challenge and inspire you. From day one, you’ll be given real responsibility along with the support of our Data & AI Academy, community and a comprehensive five-week induction in business and data.

  • STEM grads who are passionate about data and solving problems to make a difference.

Application Process 

  1.  Submit your CV & Written Application
  1.  Online Numerical Maths Test (25 mins)
  2. Subject to passing the maths test, your application form will be screened. Candidates with the strongest applications will be invited to assessment centre.
  1.  Group assessment centre (in person at our Cardiff office, this cannot be done remotely) with a 30-minute interview
  2.  2nd stage interview (virtual)
