Our Data Products team develop and runs the data offering to service Commercial Banking clients. We build complete new business lines utilising data enterprise assets and redefine this into client solutions. We offer data insight propositions that provides our clients insights to help them understand their markets and their customers ecosystems, utilising transactional data.
We have an outstanding opportunity to play a meaningful role in the success of the proposition, by leading client conversations and managing sales pipelines working closely with our Relationship teams, shaping commercialisation strategy including future expansion into the SME and Mid Corp businesses.
You'll have the chance to work closely with Transformation and Chief Data departments to build and develop insights propositions that best meet the needs of our clients and deliver value and income for the Bank.

What You’ll Need
Essential Capabilities:
- The ability to understand and articulate client needs and emerging market trends through data/insights will be critical in being successful in the role alongside:
- A good awareness of the emerging data/insight needs of clients, data market trends, development of digital ecosystems and competitor activity;
- Identify and deliver new data/insight client relationships in order to meet the business goals and generating targeted levels of income
- An ability to generate business problem statements driven by client feedback and critically assess possible solutions;
- Analytical and able to interpret qualitative and quantitative data to summarise insight and make recommendations;
- Commercially minded, to deliver portfolio and franchise growth through complex, robust customer negotiations ensuring the correct outcome for the customer and the Group
- Confident communicator, verbally and in writing who can distil sophisticated themes into simple but highly effective messages;
- An innovative problem solver, not afraid to take calculated risks, make choices to achieve their goals and to think beyond traditional boundaries to solve problems
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, agile working environment and become a valued, dependable member of the team who regularly delivers a high quality of output;
- Develop relationships with key team members across business units who are responsible for delivering the product including Corporate Institution Coverage, Group Transformation, Portfolio Analytics, and wider Client Products;
- A self-motivated individual who manages their time well and can regularly prioritise key results;
- Has a strategic approach and is able to think laterally, be firmly on the client agenda, be innovative and find creative solutions to customer problems;
- Client facing experience; understanding and delivering on client needs would be ideal.

- Ability to influence and inspire change, both upwards and outside the bank

- Someone who is a self-starter, pro-active and resilient
