Job Description

We’re seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Data and Analytics Product Lead to spearhead our data and analytics transformation. As the face of this change, you’ll be responsible for integrating top-tier analytics capabilities across all business functions, empowering our teams to make informed, efficient, and effective data-driven decisions. Your goal will be to facilitate swift, structured delivery of data and analytics products, establish clear success metrics, and deliver tangible benefits that align with our strategic objectives.

You’ll work closely with key stakeholders to develop, communicate, and maintain AXA Health's data and analytics roadmaps, ensuring we’re well-equipped to achieve our strategic ambitions in this area. You’ll serve as the bridge between the business and data and analytics, helping to define solutions that address business challenges and support our strategic goals.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with business leaders to effectively identify and prioritise analytics product and solution development based on which problems will create the highest value when solved.
  • Subject matter expert on the different types of analytics and sound knowledge of when to apply to solve specific business problems, for example, descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
  • Have end to end ownership of analytical product development from business analysis activities though to deployment and decommissioning legacy solutions.
  • Lead a virtual team setting the vision, goals and objectives of the data and analytics product which includes, but not limited to, data scientists, data engineers, data modellers, testers and visualisers with clear accountability of backlog prioritisation and product value delivery.
  • Translating sophisticated analytics products and solutions ensuring impact at scale ensuring products are discoverable, understandable, and trustworthy.
  • Collaborating with key senior stakeholders and teams to continually look for new and innovative analytical approaches to support delivery of the business area’s strategy.
  • Maintaining a view of productivity and measurable impact.
  • Ensuring all data and analytics products are delivered and maintained in accordance with our data product guardrails and regulatory guidelines

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong understanding of key business and operational metrics and their impact on things such as profit and loss, revenue and member retention.
  • Previous experience in leveraging existing data and analytics infrastructure and identifying opportunities for new technologies to deliver exceptional customer and colleague outcomes.
  • Experience in leading a team within a data and analytics space.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles and the ability to positively promote the benefits of working this way to stakeholders, cross-functional teams and the wider Analytics team.
  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills.
  • Proven evidence of identifying, creating and delivering successful analytics products and services that drive measurable impact.
  • Strong understanding of the different types of analytics and the ability to effectively apply to address business problems.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
