Data Analytics Manager

Salary: £70,000 plus with executive benefits including car allowance and bonus on top

What you’ll be doing:
- Design and implement scalable, secure and high-performance data architectures aligned with BAE Systems Submarines’ strategic goals
- Shape and execute the company’s data strategy, working both hands-on and managing the team to deliver results
- Lead and manage data governance by creating and enforcing policies around data ownership, stewardship and lifecycle management
- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to ensure data governance policies are effectively implemented and adhered to
- Oversee data quality programs, including data profiling, cleansing and reporting, to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all business units
Your skills and experiences:
- Extensive experience in Data Governance, architecture, and data quality management within large, complex organisations
- A proven ability to develop and execute data strategies that align with business objectives, particularly in the Defence or heavy engineering sector
- Strong knowledge of data analytics tools, techniques, and practices, with a focus on process mining and business optimisation
- In-depth understanding of Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations delivery functions
- Demonstrated experience in managing change and driving data-driven transformation in complex environments

You’ll be at the forefront of managing control projects with no existing roadmap, making this a unique opportunity to shape the future of engineering in this space. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
