Location: Hybrid (1-2 days a week in our Cardiff office, with remote working options)

The Programme

Our Data Analytics Graduate Programme at Admiral offers STEM grads hands-on experience in data at our FTSE 100 headquarters. Over 25 months, you’ll rotate through three distinct areas of our Data Community, leveraging and transforming raw data into actionable insights that guide strategic decision-making to shape and support our business. The programme is flexible, allowing you to work with a huge variety of data and forge a career that suits your passions and nurtures and develops your interests.

What you’ll learn: 

  • To use industry-leading tools, such as Google Cloud Platform, Looker, MicroStrategy from Microsoft and SQL to analyse and visualise data in creative ways.
  • To lead analysis projects, collaborate and connect with teams and guide stakeholders in solving complex problems with great data storytelling.
  • Business knowledge and how to apply it to solve real-world challenges.
  • Expertise in data governance and using peer review and testing for reliable insights.

Supported by a dedicated mentor, line manager and our Data & AI Academy and Data Community, you’ll receive excellent support to continuously develop your skills, starting with a five-week business and data induction to get you ready to hit the ground running!

What we’re looking for:

  • STEM grads (of maths, physics, computing, engineering, biology, psychology, economics or similar) with a passion for data and solving problems.

You could be placed in any data area of our business, so it’s important to keep an open mind. 

Application Process

  1.  Submit your CV & Written Application
  1.  Online Numerical Maths Test (25 mins)
  2. Subject to passing the maths test, your application form will be screened. Candidates with the strongest applications will be invited to assessment centre.
  1.  Group assessment centre (in person at our Cardiff office, this cannot be done remotely) with a 30-minute interview
  2.  2nd stage interview (virtual)
