About our Team:

The UK Data Insight team has played crucial roles in onboarding new customers, developing  marketing studies, and product development. The new hire will play a key role in these areas and will have the autonomy to drive innovation within the team and the larger organization.

About the role:

The new hire will collaborate across all areas of the business and technology groups, conducting data and root cause analysis, and creating data visualization reports using Power BI as well as involvement with special projects. We are looking for a self-motivated, inquisitive, and adaptable individual with a passion for  data.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data evaluations and provide insights to various multiple business areas and external vendors.
  • Plan, design, build and maintain reporting for diverse business cases.
  • Become a subject matter expert for UK & Ireland Data.
  • Support Business through data analysis, data development and research.
  • Create data documentation including process mapping and quality thresholds.
  • Investigate and report data issues.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Utilise various data workflow management and analysis tools.
  • Resolve basic data issues within specific functional area or data type.
  • Produce basic ad hoc data counts, stats, examples as required.
  • Support colleagues in the US Data Insight team with above tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with data development languages such as SQL/Python/R/ECL/Java
  • Degree in Data Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Git, VSC, Cloud technologies, Confluence and Jira s advantageous.
  • Willingness to develop new skills in AI, Cloud Technologies, Java Development
  • Proficiency with various data types and formats, including flat files, delimited, JSON, XML.
  • Experience creating  visualisations using tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Strong research, problem solving and data investigation skills..
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
