About our Team
The Data Engineering Team in the UK&I features 20 individuals but sits within a global Data Engineering team of over 400+ individuals. Data Management is currently a team of 2.5 team members but is expanding as our product offerings grow within the UK.

About the Role
This position performs moderate data management and analysis tasks within a specific functional area or data type. Excellent communication with data sources and contacts both with external customers and internal colleagues on all areas of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Applying Business support through data analysis and research
  • Modifying pre-designed queries to assess data for research purposes
  • Contributing to running basic data statistics, including coverage stats, field populations
  • Conducting routine data review and verification and ensures corrections/clarifications are made in a timely manner
  • Investigating, tracking, and reporting data issues
  • Undertaking and complete new data onboarding and/or production data management functions as assigned/required
  • Communicating with external data providers to on-board new data sources and investigate issues with existing ones

Requirements

  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft tools, concentrating on Excel, PowerBI and others
  • Be able to communicate findings effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Have good knowledge of a range of different formats of data, including those in JSON, XML, CSV and flat file formats.
  • Able to learn new processes and tools.
