Meet the Team

The Data Analyst will work within the MI Hub area of Advanced Analytics, with the team of Data Analysts who are directly supporting Admiral’s Customer & Conduct department.

Within the Customer Analytics team, you will provide the Customer & Conduct area with valuable data insights on our customers that enable the business to ensure fair outcomes for our customers, and improve their satisfaction.

Skills and experience:

Essential

  • A keen interest in problem solving and critical thinking
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to consume and understand new information quickly and effectively
  • Self-motivated and proactive learner

Desirable

  • Experience in data visualisation and data storytelling
  • Experience in any or all of the following: SAS/SQL, BigQuery, MicroStrategy, Looker, other visualisation tools
  • An understanding of Admiral’s customer and complaints processes

Role responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data needs
  • Collect and analyse data from various sources to facilitate stakeholder requests
  • Create dashboards and 1st-class reports to visualise and communicate data findings and trends
  • Produce and maintain regulatory reporting such as RMAR, Fair Value Assessments
  • Maintain core business processes such as SMS Feedback, and subsequent reports and insight
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through giving and receiving feedback and sharing knowledge
